Two–tier cycle shelters are enclosed structures that provide space for cyclists to park and store their bicycles. They are typically located near public transportation hubs and other places where people need to access their bicycles quickly and easily. The two tiers provide cyclists with more space and protection, as the upper level shelters bikes from the elements. Some two–tier cycle shelters also feature locking systems to ensure the safety of stored bikes.
